“A small, fiercely independent company of proven integrity."

Sick of a society of Twitter and trolls, anger and argument?
Marguerite has the cure.
It’s her new web series – ‘Simple Souls’.
It’s fun.
It’s friendly.
And it’s about to get her into serious shit.
But this woman won’t be silenced.
A joyous comedy from the writer of Cristina in the Cupboard.
Sharing the love has never been so dangerous!

Simple Souls marks Paul Gilchrist’s return as a writer to the genre of his well-received comedy Cristina in the Cupboard. Like Cristina, Paul’s new play is set in the internal world of the protagonist as she seeks to find and share joy.

Paul Gilchrist is the artistic director of subtlenuance. The plays he has written and directed include One Way Mirror [Blood Moon Theatre, 2018]; Atlantis [Kings Cross Theatre, 2016]; Shut Up and Drive (with Daniela Giorgi) [Kings Cross Theatre, 2016]; All The Difference [Old 505, 2015]; Joan Again [Old Fitzroy Theatre, 2014]; Cristina in the Cupboard [TAP, 2013]; Rocket Man [TAP, 2013]; Blind Tasting [Old 505 Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Street Theatre, Melbourne Fringe Hub, Adelaide Fringe, 2018 -2013]; Lucy Black [TAP, 2012]; Toy Box [TAP, 2011]; Life Is Impossible [Newtown Theatre, 2010]; A Thing of Beauty [Old Fitzroy Theatre, 2010]; Two Gates [TAP, 2010]; Catherine at Avignon [TAP, 2009]; Before The Embrace [Newtown Theatre, 2009]; and True Times Three [TAP, 2008].
